Cooly?

Cooly? Who in the world is Cooly are they cool people or is it just food? Well Cooly is God! What?!? We think we are cool because of earthly things like, iPhones, computers, clothes, etc. But, we're not. Because we all sin and we are not perfect.

Did you ever meet person that never sinned? No! Everyone has sinned. Think about a time you said something mean to someone, or did something you knew you shouldn't have. That is a sin, but the Bible tells us that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, so we are all forgiven! :) BUT, BUT Jesus NEVER SINNED!! How could that be possible? Well Jesus made us and loves us. Jesus is the son of God so he never sinned because he is our Father, our real Father. What do you mean by saying "real Father"? Well, your father down here on earth is kinda like your stepfather, because he didn't "make" you. God did, He made us in his image! So who exactly is a Cooly? The answer is... GOD!!!Why?

This is why:

He...
made us
loves us
cares for us
died for us
forgives us

He wants us to be closer and closer to him each day. So next time your friend or anyone asks you this "Who do you think is the coolest person in the world?" Answer.. GOD! So remember that you're not the Cooly, God is, and he wants you to become like him each and every day.

Prayer  for Today :)
Dear Father, thank you for dying on the cross for us and forgiving our sins. We know we are not perfect, so please help us to be humble, kind, and true. Just like you! We love you and want to be closer and closer to you each day. In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen

Sin :(

Hey guys,

Today I'm going to be talking about sin.

There is no BIG or small sin, in God's eyes they are all just sin. Mankind named the sins BIG or small. For example; if you lied to your parents you think that's just a small sin, if you killed someone you think that's a BIG sin.

Well, no.

It's just sin and sin is not acceptable. If you think that hiding things like accounts that your parents told you not to make or texts messages from people that are inappropriate, your parents or guardian might not see but God sees everything.

The Bible says that:

"God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad.
" (Ecclesiastes 12:14).

I don't know about you, but I want God to see only what's right in my life. And if God reveals this to other people, I don't want to be embarrassed by what I have done in hiding either. I want my life to be an open book and I hope you do too.

Till next time!

How to overcome stress

Everything isn't  going to go how you want  it to be? Just pray and then everything will go out fine, if you already did that and you are already almost crying or fall than pray again, its not just going to happen like that (snap), you have to wait and trust in God and just wait. While you wait let me tell you a story that happened to me just today...
When my mom, dad, sisters and grandma were coming back from a park in Apopka, FL (it's close to Orlando) my dad asked if I wanted to watch The Lorax I got so excited I took a shower and did my hair, and I even did a little massage on him.
When it was almost time to go he said that he was to tired that he couldn't go. He said that tomorrow @ 7 P.M we could go. I got so mad (and sad) I started to cry soo much, I just wouldn't stop until I said stop, I will control myself and pray. Now I'm fine and I will wait till tomorrow. Did you wait, are you now calm? Well if you are, wonderful!! If you still didn't, well do this all again, it will work, I promise :)

About Christmas!!

We all know that Christmas is very fun and exciting because our family and friends come, and we get to open presents and get candy canes, and Santa comes and... SANTA!!!

Santa is nothing compared to Jesus. But, instead of Jesus having all the attention, an old man takes all the attention away from our Savior, imagine that!! Not trying to be mean but there is no such thing as flying rein deers I mean did you ever see one great question you would be saying (if I were there :D).

So lets go back to the point of Christmas, wait a minute doesn't Christmas have two words in it!?!?!

CHRIST, which is our Savior, and Mas which means chapel in another language that I don't remember, do you get it now?! its not Santamas its CHRISTMAS! and its not only about presents and food and family its about Jesus being born because he loved you!

So go out to the world and tell about Jesus not about a Santa (or Santarrrr like my dad says when he's being silly!)

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family!!

Prayer for Today :)

Dear Father, help us believe in you not in Santa, that everyday we might get closer and closer to you, that one day you will bring us to heaven to live you there and that we learn the true meaning about Christmas which is you my Lord. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

My little Poem

God is awesome, God is cool.
God is wonderful,God is not a fool.

He's the best everybody knows.
He's the one that made the tip of my toes!

I love God thats what you see,
but deep inside God loves me.

Welcome

Theme: Opening our hearts and homes to others - Proper 8 (13)

Scripture: "He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me. Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and anyone who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward." Matthew 10:40-42 (NIV)
Good morning .... Have you ever seen one of these? Where have you seen something like this? Usually we'd see a mat like this outside the door to our home, wouldn't we? A mat such as this usually has two purposes. Do you know what those two purposes are?
Well, for one thing, it is a friendly reminder for people to wipe their shoes off so that they won't track dirt or mud into your home. And second, it is placed outside your door as a sign to let people know that they are welcome in your home.

Welcome -- what does the word "welcome" mean? It means to receive someone in a warm and friendly way. Are people always welcome in our homes? Do we welcome people into our home if their skin is a different color from ours? Do we welcome people into our homes if they don't have as much money as we do?

How about in our church? Do you think that we make everyone feel welcome in our church? Do we speak to those people who are visiting our church that we do not know? If someone comes to our church and they are not dressed the way we are dressed, do we make sure that they are made to feel welcome?

Jesus said, "He who receives you receives me." If we turn that around, we will understand that if we do not welcome others into our homes and into our churches, it is the same as if we are refusing to welcome Jesus. We wouldn't do that, would we?
Well, let's put the welcome mat out -- and let's be sure that we mean it!

Prayer for Today :)

Dear Father, help us to remember that when we refuse to welcome others to our homes and to our church, it is the same as refusing to welcome you. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
